Join Our Team: Operational Excellence Senior Manager (6-Month Fixed Term)

Start date - Mid May for 6 months

Location - hybrid/ London Gresham Street

Capita is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Operational Excellence Senior Manager for a six-month fixed term, covering maternity leave.

This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to lead and drive key initiatives that enhance Capita's value to our clients and suppliers.

Our Vision: To embed the tools and behaviour that empower Capita to maximize value-add activity for all stakeholders. Your Role: As the Operational Excellence Senior Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic direction for lean interventions.
  • Develop and implement Operational Excellence deployment roadmaps to foster improvements and maturity.
  • Ensure balanced outcomes across People, Customer, and Cost through the deployment of Operational Excellence methods.
  • Manage baselining, mobilization activities, and analysis within your project scope.
  • Track and report on the benefits of Operational Excellence interventions, influencing Customer, People, Financial, and Maturity outcomes.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to operational managers and teams.
  • Serve as a technical expert in Lean, SixSigma, and Change Management techniques, ensuring compliance with regulatory and fair trading rules.

Desirable Experience/Skills:

  • Proven expertise in Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement.
  • Practical experience with Lean/Six-Sigma programs, deployments, and coaching.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A strong change orientation with the ability to challenge and innovate.
  • Senior-level stakeholder management experience.
  • Robust commercial, financial, and analytical acumen.
  • A track record of delivering complex improvement projects.
