If you want to work for an organisation certified as a Great Place to Work, you are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, you enjoy working as part of a team and strive to find the best way of doing things - you belong at Bromford.

As part of our service delivery team, you'll be there for our customers whenever they need you. You'll be allocating work and tasks to your team of repairs engineers and monitoring their diaries, ensuring that all our properties and our customers receive the highest levels of service. In your role, you'll build strong relationships, make new friends and have a genuinely positive impact on the lives of thousands of people.

In this pivotal role, you'll be scheduling works using various systems, both proactively and reactively, and ensuring all emergency repairs are completed and actioned accordingly. All work should be complete within agreed timescales, so you'll need to find the most efficient and commercial way of doing this, identifying, and highlighting any issues to the lead planner as they arise. You should action emails and tasks promptly, building and maintaining good working relationships with the lead planner, operational team and other teams, including the customer service teams.

To be a successful operations planner, we want you to:

  • Be experienced in job/repairs planning, ideally having worked in a housing/repairs/utilities role before
  • Use initiative; be experienced working under pressure and be able to adapt to change
  • Have experience in using CRM systems (D365 would be ideal, although not essential)
  • Experience of using scheduling tools (DRS would be ideal, although not essential)
  • Have an understanding of resource migration and forecasting methodology
  • Have a creative mind and a will to get the job done
  • Bring a good understanding of health and safety
  • Have good general knowledge of repairs and maintenance
  • Be experienced in using Microsoft software and systems
  • Pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service
  • Be a great ambassador for Bromford.

This role is based in our Wolverhampton office (WV10). Due to the nature of the role, a DBS check will be completed for the successful applicant.

Closing date for applications is Thursday 2 May 2024. Interviews will take place at Venture Court, Wolverhampton.
