Job title: Project Manager - Bid

Location: Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: From £60,000 - depending on skills & experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the design and build of SSN-AUKUS for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD)
  • Leading the campaign and bid programme to develop and secure future contracts
  • Project management bid activities, including but not limited to:
  • Liaising with the UK MoD and Submarine Delivery Agency
  • Co-ordinating and managing multi-disciplined teams
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to obtain endorsements for bids
  • Generating and supporting internal business reviews of progress

Your skills and experiences:

  • Experience of Bid Management in large complex Construction projects
  • Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ, Prince2) or equivalent experience
  • Business management acumen
  • Experience of leading a team

The Bid Management team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join and support the Bid Management capability of the SSN-AUKUS - the largest attack Submarine that has ever been built in the UK. This is a dynamic programme in the early stages of the build with plenty of opportunity for growth.
