Job Title: Senior Engineer - Master Data Management

Location: Warton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £45,326 - £49,834 depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering background with a good degree of experience of design and support processes and products. You will also have an understanding of how to manage the development of software products.

You will be able and willing to "think differently" and challenge the established ways of doing things, you will show an ability to embed new approaches such as Agile / Scrum and Model Based Engineering. You will be comfortable to use your own initiative rather than respond to direct tasking and you will exhibit considerable collaboration and information sharing behaviours, especially across organisational boundaries. A sound understanding of the maintenance and support domain and/or the concepts of through life data engineering will be highly beneficial in this role.

  • Acting as a customer interface to develop data requirements
  • Developing and documenting Master Data Management Records
  • Developing and documenting Master Data Management processes
  • Interacting with our toolset development partners to oversee and enable toolset development
  • Investigating data anomalies

Your skills and experiences:

  • Understanding of the Master Data Management support processes and toolsets is essential
  • Practical application of Systems Engineering principles
  • Knowledge of Data Engineering/Data Science/Data Analysis principles

The Air Support and Services team:

The Air Support and Services function are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative senior engineer to join the Engineering Master Data Management Team. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of a Master Data Management tool and the production of operational processes for the Engineering Master Data Management Hub
