Sous Chef

What you do: 

• Production of core feeding and hospitality menus 
• Ensure the appropriate methods of cooking and presentation are used to maintain the highest standards of production and service. 
• Assist with goods received in order to ensure the correct stock rotation is in place. 
• Assist with cleaning in the food preparation areas to agreed standards and schedules. 
• Ensure all allergen paperwork is completed and pre-service briefings are held. 
• To undertake occasional duties outside of the normal routing within the scope of the department's activities 
• To report any health and safety incident

What you bring: 

• Level 2 or 3 chef qualifications and a minimum 1 year of experience in hands-on cooking, including certificates for food hygiene and health and safety
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Flexible approach to the role
• Exposure to or experience with large-scale cooking
