The role:
As a System Accountant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be responsible for improving efficiency and the standardisation of financial master data.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for creation, maintenance and closing of projects within finance systems. Further responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of master data ensuring group wide governance is adhered to, especially in maintaining the integrity of the Enterprise Structure
  • Proactively investigate and work with the business to correct any data inconsistencies, enabling accurate financial reporting
  • Support data reporting and resolution to ensure business stakeholders/ data owners are informed of their data discrepancies.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and can be delivered remotely with occasional onsite meetings at Lakeside.

Essential experience of the System Accountant:

  • Strong aptitude for finance systems and data management
  • Intermediate Excel skills in data compilation
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Business Intelligence SQL programming would be advantageous.
  • Experience of project management and project lifecycle would be advantageous


Qualifications for the System Accountant:

  • Relevant finance qualification would be desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
