Teacher (Maternity cover)

Required from September 2024, to 28 th February 2025, with the potential to be extended.

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic KS1 primary school teacher with a passion for teaching children to achieve their potential and make the best possible progress. Applications from Early Career Teachers are welcome.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within this well regarded and friendly school, set in the beautiful rural village of Nafferton.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Plans and delivers high quality learning experiences for all children.
  • Is innovative and enthusiastic.
  • Has a good understanding of assessment for learning and uses this to inform planning.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to accelerate children's learning.
  • Is able to build positive relationships with parents and carers and is committed to working in partnership.
  • Is committed to achieving high standards in all aspects of school life and can work as part of a team.
  • Is committed to inclusion and pupil well-being.
