Job Description

Role Summary

To provide business support, administrative leadership and general office management to deliver a high quality, comprehensive administrative service.

Responsible for own workload which may include financial and personnel administration, overseeing maintenance of building(s) and dealing with visitors to the department and clients via the telephone and work with the Multi-disciplinary teams. Will be required to supervise and allocate work to staff in lower bands.

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of administration and co-ordination of the departmental roster with shared decision making, escalating issues to the Department Lead/or Service Manager as necessary.

About the Role

The Outpatients Department at North Devon District Hospital has an opportunity for a Team Leader within the busy Clinical Management Centre. This will be working alongside another Team Leader and the Senior Team Leader.

You will be accountable for the leadership, training and development of the Clinical Management Centre team. 

We are looking for a friendly, organised person who will need to be able to demonstrate commitment and excellent communication skills. Applicants will need to be able to work independently and on their own initiative.

Working Pattern: 34.5 hours per week. Can be flexible on the basis of a minimum of 3 days in the week, finishing at 17:00. Our hours of work are 8:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
