Your Role

As an associate sourcing partner, you will source and attract the best talent in the market on behalf of our customers. Bringing our find and engage methodology to life using tools and technology to apply sourcing techniques that will identify target talent pools and passive candidates.

Applying market insight, you will be a talent strategist, focused on recruiting the right candidate, in the right time and the right cost. Increasing direct fill rates, reducing time to hire and maximising fees. You will deliver an exceptional candidate experience that positively impacts both the client and Hays Talent Solutions brands.

Build lasting relationships:

  • Develop partnerships with clients and delivery teams.
  • Be seen as the sourcing expert, demonstrating knowledge of the talent landscape and relevant candidate attraction strategies. Bringing find and engage to life
  • Through personal credibility and insight, build engaged networks of high-calibre candidates to meet current and future hiring demand

Be the recruitment expert:

  • Conduct intake briefing calls with hiring manager and recruitment partner at requisition creation stage.
  • Provide advice on appropriate route to market and agree sourcing strategy
  • Translate market insights into informed talent pool analysis
  • Use workforce plans where available to create strategic sourcing plans that will find and engage the best talent ahead of requirement
  • Nurture talent communities that possess frequently required skills sets in relevant industries and geographies, for future vacancies
  • Share job and career specific content across both client and hays social channels to build audiences
  • Regularly market content to a passive audience using social, e-shot, InMail, SMS and CRM tools
  • Be a brand ambassador for both Hays, Hays Talent Solutions and our clients

 

Deliver an efficient and compliant process:

  • Translate job descriptions into compelling advertising copy to be used on relevant digital channels.
  • Operate find and engage methodology to source passive and active candidates using a variety of tools, technology and search techniques
  • Conduct candidate centric telephone interviews providing clear transparent sign posting
  • Provide a credible short-list of suitable candidates for each vacancy within agreed time frames
  • Screen all long-listed candidates against the agreed criteria ensuring that you become a trusted advisor to the candidate and gather all required information to assess their suitability for the role
  • Be prepared to provide supporting evidence on the candidates that you recommend for interview
  • Work with the wider Hays’ customer and clients’ own teams to facilitate interviews and assessments
  • Ensure all candidates are prepared prior to interview with the client, providing them with detailed information including (but not limited to): the job description, location, time, interviewer and client
  • Provide liaison between the hiring manager and candidates to obtain and relay constructive feedback at all stages in the recruitment life-cycle
  • When applicable, negotiate terms of the offer between the hiring manager and candidate to satisfactory conclusion
  • When appropriate, provide candidate guidance on referencing and compliance
  • Ongoing engagement throughout a recruitment process to keep candidate ‘warm’ and ensure commitment information including (but not limited to): the job description, location, time, interviewer and client
  • Ensure adherence to Hays and Client recruitment methodology, policies, procedures and service delivery standards
  • Escalate any issues in a timely manner to a relevant team or Team Leader/Delivery Manager
  • Provide recommendations to the Team Leader or Delivery Manager in relation to service improvements

 

Optimise Systems and Business Intelligence:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the importance of all recruitment technologies and system integrity responsibilities
  • Maximise use of recruitment technologies as a primary vacancy management tool and utilise functions, codes and searches effectively
  • Document all activity accurately and in a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining data integrity in whichever tool is required at a point in time
  • Extract data as needed from all associated systems and technologies and analyse this to understand performance against the delivery of the contracted service
  • Work with Team Leader or Manager to use this business intelligence to improve the delivery of the service going forward
  • Understand own performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
