The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Rigger Mechanic - Technician to develop the required skills to support existing infrastructure, which includes inspection and maintenance of a wide range of Mast, Towers and Antenna systems. Also the installation of new assets at sites in the UK and around the world.

Day-to-day, you'll be trained to understand and apply the strategy needed to maintain assets in your area of responsibility.

  • Demonstrate the awareness of health & safety policy and regulations applicable to your role.
  • Apply safe working practices to agreed standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by multi-skilling in other departments when required.
  • Have the initiative to solve tasks that may be complex and unfamiliar.

This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time. It also involves working at height. Candidates must be able to work safely and perform tasks at varying heights.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based at Scarborough. You will be also required to travel/work across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

Essential experience of the Trainee Rigger Mechanic/Technician

  • Team player
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft windows (Word, Excel)

Qualifications for the Trainee Rigger Mechanic/Technician

  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
