Landmarc Support Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Area Operatives at Donna nook, Lincolnshire

These exciting roles require no previous experience just a great attitude

As the Training Area Operative your main responsibilities will be to ensure that the Training Estate facilities and ranges are fit for purpose, maintaining a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train, this pivotal role is essential to the delivery of the contract.

As a Variable Hours member of staff we guarantee you a minimum of 16 hours Per Week Minimum, this will usually be early mornings and late evenings, weekend work will be applicable.

Be Flexible with working hours (08.30 - 17.00) and night flying (17.00 - 22.30) on a roster basis.

Main Responsibilities

To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose in accordance with the allocation and ensure compliance with the NTEP service modules e.g.:

Preparing training areas for use,

Bomb scoring,

Preventative maintenance,

Grounds maintenance,

Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment,

Manufacturing targets,

Housekeeping,

Sustainability tasks,

Driving and operating fleet vehicles

To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities adhere to safe systems of work e.g.:

Control of access,

Warning systems including training control offices, radar, flags and night lights,

Reporting defects,

Report and deal with unauthorised persons on the Training Area Estate.

To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective training area delivery e.g.:

Handover/ take back of facilities with service users including providing information on maximising' the facility,

The Employers representatives regarding training area safety and usage,

Direct and advise wider training estate users including the general public.

To complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.

To carry out additional works in response to additional contract requirements (Fee earning)

Successful candidate will be mainly employed on control of entry and reception duties, dealing with both military users/visitors and general public.

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of Health & Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work

Experience of working in a rural setting, content working outdoors in all weathers

Basic labouring, caretaking and DIY skills

Ability to complete documentation

Basic IT skills

Excellent communication skills with people on all levels

Acts responsibly to maintain a safe environment

Have a full driver's licence valid in the United Kingdom (essential

Military background would be advantageous but not essential
