Transport Manager

Landmarc Support Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Manager to join the team at Spadeadam, Brampton in Cumbria.

In this role you will work on the Defence Training Estate, providing confidence to the employer through effective service delivery within your specialist area of Transport Managing.

This is a Full Time Role Based on 40 hours per week.

Investigate Road Traffic Accidents

Management of driver hours to ensure compliance with UK traffic laws

Act as Unit Licencing Officer and Authorised Demand Officer

Hold or be working towards Transport Manager CPC (National) Certificate

Hold Valid Full UK Driving Licence (Heavy goods licence desirable)

Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level

Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Working Practices

Experience of communicating with customers and managing people
