Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Alliance will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant through a range of activities. We will promote the fact that we are an Armed Forces friendly organisation to our staff, clients, contractors and wider public. We will support the employment of military spouses and partners by providing flexibility in granting leave for them before, during and after a partner’s deployment as needed. In the event that an employee who is a military spouse becomes bereaved, we will support them through bereavement leave and on-going flexibility to help them return to work.
Alliance, being a mental health service provider, will offer a discount to the Armed Forces community for its private adult’s service. We will publicise our commitments through our website and social media channels. Our adult mental health services are available to the public which will of course include spouses and partners of military personnel, our support also extends to children of military personnel through our children’s services subject to local funding.

Alliance Psychological Services has been providing a range of counselling and psychological therapies services to communities for over 20 years and have become the largest, most trusted provider across Teesside. Our aim is to ensure that people have access to high quality, evidence-based interventions provided by our team of qualified and dedicated staff.
Our range of specialist services support children, young people and adults and include employee wellbeing support to organisations. We continue to be the preferred supplier for many primary care projects and have recently been successful in becoming the Lead providers of a unique Partnership both for our children’s trailblazer(HAST) and the IMPACT adults contract delivery.
Alliance employs just over 230 people who have a range of specialist skills. They work across Teesside in a variety of locations delivering vital services to our communities. Alliance prides itself on being a caring and supportive organisation and is proud to have been recently awarded the Investors in People Silver Award.
