Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Approved Care and Support are committed to supporting the Armed Forces, we are an Armed Forces Friendly organisation. We want to support veterans, young and old and we want to actively support service spouses, partners and wider family and friends who are looking to work in the healthcare setting.

We currently employ one armed forces personnel who is coming to the end of their resettlement March 2022. This person is now employed as a manager in our company.

We have also recruited a reservist, who has no experience in the civilian work environment. This has been a great employment for us due to the background in the forces and the understanding they bring to following, policies and procedures, the ability to use initiative and the willingness to learn.

We support where we can and can be flexible to a degree of understanding their role within the reserve forces.

We are one team together.

About us

Approved Care and Support are a Private Domiciliary home care provider. This means we support people to stay in their own home and live as independently as possible. We have been supporting our community since March 2017

We support our customers with their day-to-day living, which includes, supporting in and out of bed, washing, personal care, dressing, food and drink and medication, this is only the practical part of the role. We have the support of companionship, supporting in the community and most importantly be there as a friend for conversation and those moments where we all need someone.
