Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Atos has been an ERS Gold Award holder and signatory of the AFC since 2016. Within the company we have an Armed Forces Network (AFN) of 150+ people, including Veterans, Reservists, Forces Family members and people with a personal interest. This volunteer group provides mentoring, advice and career/personal support to all our members and other employees from military backgrounds. Working with our recruitment team, we also offer advice to potential new Atos recruits from these backgrounds and are seeking to extend our recruiting support to a wider group of service leavers and families through liaison with organisations such as FFJ. The AFN also supports military charities (e.g. British Legion, National Memorial Arboretum) with voluntary work and fundraising.
As well as the AFN, Atos operates several other Diversity & Inclusion networks and initiatives, including our “Returnship” scheme, through which we look to offer placements and coaching for people seeking to return to work after career breaks. This provides another way in which we can potentially assist Forces Families.
