Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
As soon as our company was established we wanted to demonstrate our commitment to the Armed Forces community. We signed the covenant , hold the Gold ERS award and still seek to help the wider forces community. We are the chosen training provider for the 'Rifles Always a Rifleman programme'. The programme is the first of it's kind and seeks to establish a nationwide network of veteran led peer support, who are at the end of a 24 hour crisis line for anyone from the Rifles family. We have delivered free mental health training to veterans alongside other North West Armed Forces focused charities. Serving soldiers and their families will get priority on our courses at discounted rates and we actively look to employ veterans to deliver our training.
About us
Body and Mind First Aid Training was founded by British Army veterans John Barry & Danny Leicester. Our instructors consist of a core group of veteran instructors, John, Danny, Kevyn, Ben and Tommy. We are located in the Northwest but deliver HSE compliance training nationally, as well as pre hospital care, and SIA linked qualifications. Our aim as a company is to support veterans and their families gain employment, either directly as one of our trainers, or by offering training to those who may not be able to access it for whatever reason.
