Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Military Spouses are the rock of the service community. Buckinghamshire is a very “military county” housing large numbers of serving and retired service personnel. It is very important we are accessible to them for their health needs, employment needs, support and networks.

One of our current military spouses who works in our development department is about to leave for Cyprus with her currently serving husband.

We actively seek through our networking military spouses and dependants who may want to work in the NHS and by the very nature of continuous deployment to different places need to show the flexibility to their employment as they move around the military journey.

We are very flexible as a Trust for all employees to take time off during challenging times and are particularly supportive to spouses and partners, should sad or challenging situations occur.
