Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
The MFRC places a strong focus on diversity and values the confidence, integrity, respect and empathy that military spouses bring to the table; as an organization, we remain committed to providing employment opportunities to our remote military community. Employment & Education Assistance Program: The Employment & Education Coordinator (EEA) provides military spouses and youth with employment, education and training assistance. EEA services include career counselling, résumé/CV writing assistance, networking opportunities, policy and licensing interpretation, online education applications, webinars, classroom based training, resources and general support.
About us
The MFRC is a Canadian operated, non-profit organization, providing services and supports to all military families posted to CFB Suffield and BATUS. The MFRC strives to promote individual health and well-being, family engagement and community integration, through the provision of community-needs based programming, including (but not limited to) welcome briefs, information and referral supports, daycare, clubs and activities for children and youth, employment and education assistance and volunteer leadership involvement. Known as the hub of the community, the MFRC is open Monday through Friday and hosts daily coffee mornings, seasonal community events and a variety of activities throughout the year.
