Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
The Council has signed the Armed Forces Covenant and has received the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award. We have also shown our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces Community with a guaranteed interview scheme which extends to spouses and civil partners of current serving personnel.
This means that spouses and civil partners of current serving personnel who meet the essential criteria of a post within the Council are guaranteed an interview.
We are committed to supporting forces family members as part of the Armed Forces Covenant.
