Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
We are supportive of the armed forces including; serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families. We express that support through our policies and practices as an employer and through the work that we do as an organisation. The union's priority campaign is currently looking at ending veteran homelessness in the UK. It is work we are proud of and that our staff team, local representatives and members have all been engaged and active in supporting.
About us
We are a general union, representing workers in every sector of the UK economy. Our biggest membership bases are in; the steel industry, the justice and custodial sector, finance, logistics, the third sector and amongst the self-employed.
We represent and support our members at work, in their communities and when life gets complicated.
