Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Defence Leaders has a strong relationship with the services and use our position to push the Armed Forces Covenant whenever and wherever possible.
We actively aim to recruit forces family members and enjoy close links with our local reserve and cadet units, with our Defence Director serving eight years with Chelmsford’s Royal Anglian Regiment.
Our portfolio covers 8 different combat capability areas (logistics, engineering, helicopters, search and rescue, surface ship capability, submarine technologies, ship safety and underwater warfare) and this year the Company has secured support from both the British Army and Royal Navy for events that reflect the land/sea domain.
These eight events each accommodate between 200-600 personnel and the Armed Forces Covenant features prominently on our website, apps, guides and signage. We are proud to be a silver holder and see our path towards gold as a reflection of our ongoing commitment to helping both those who serve, and their supporting network.
About us
In our ever-changing geopolitical landscape, the need for dialogue and collaboration amongst Allies has never been more profound. This, in addition to the rapid rate of technological advancement and increasingly complex network of systems and platforms, places a greater value on comprehensive intelligence, easily digestible analysis and opportunities for discussion than ever before.
Since 2009, Defence Leaders have been serving the global military community with insights, debate and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities via our portfolio of best-in-class events, and now two leading digital platforms focused uniquely upon the land and naval domains.
Bridging the gap between Industry and leading decision makers representing global Armed Forces, our role is to foster collaboration, provide valuable operational feedback and facilitate highly-curated networking between those charged with ensuring NATO and its partner nations have the capability to meet their current and future needs and those at the forefront of technological advancement.
