Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
At East Norfolk Sixth Form College we focus on promoting the fact that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, to our staff, students, parents and families, suppliers, contractors and wider public. We work hard to support the employment of Service spouses and partners. This includes partnering with Forces Family Jobs; and providing flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment where we are able to. We have clear processes and systems outlined in our policies and provide personalised HR support for family members of serving personnel and reservists. We also celebrate national events including supporting Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Remembrance activities. Finally we support Armed Forces charities with fundraising and encourage staff to assist, we are now the Poppy Appeal Organiser for our local region.
