Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We hold the Gold Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. We recognise and praise the individuals of the Armed Forces Community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. We value the skills, knowledge and experience these individuals bring.

In addition to flexible working, generous time off and leave provisions and wide ranging training and development offer, we:

• Commit to interview all veterans, who meet the requirements of the role for which they are applying.
• Offer an additional two weeks reservists leave.
• Protected employment for any period of mobilisation. Reinstatement (if requested) within six months of demobilisation.

We also:

• Steer the work of the Civilian Military Partnership Board, established to ensure the joined-up support and advocacy for the Armed Forces Community.
• Commission and maintain the provision of legal advocacy services to Armed Forces personnel and their families.
• Actively promote Armed Forces Day and Remembrance Day.
