Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Fernwood Parish Council supports the values of the Armed Forces Covenant by offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a job advert.
About us
Parish councils are the first tier of local government in England. They deliver a range of services at a community level and their role is to represent the local community, provide services to meet local needs and improve quality of life and community wellbeing. As the authority closest to the people, we are invariably the first port of call people go to with their concerns or ideas. Fernwood Parish Council is committed to delivering high quality local services. Currently the Council manages a village hall and grounds within the Parish but this work is due to increase with the Parish Council acquiring more land and plans to develop the village hall.
