Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

GE Aerospace has been a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant since 2014 and has achieved Employee Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Status in 2019.  A copy of GE’s pledge can be found here.  As GE splits into GE Aerospace and GE Vernova in 2024, the GE Veterans Network is planning to resign the covenant as GE Aerospace and renewing the ERS Gold status (valid of 5 years).  This work is ongoing but incorporates support for the broader Armed Forces community including Cadet Adult Volunteers.

The GE Aerospace Veterans Network (GEVN) is very active and supports the whole spectrum of the Armed Forces community across three core pillars Hire, Support and Grow.  As well as being a network for the Armed Forces community it also encourages advocacy of the network across the business.  To get in touch with the network’s hire pillar please email - uk-veterans@ge.com.
