Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant 

We have signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, achieved our Bronze and Silver Employer Recognition Awards, and we are currently working towards the Gold.

We have employed military spouses from RAF Shawbury and in the past have actively promoted recruitment in the RAF Shawbury Magazine.

Most recently we employed two spouses of veterans; one who was studying for a degree and so we offered the flexibility of having hours that were allocated around her study commitments. The other has a young family, and her hours were allocated when her husband is able to look after the children.

They have been amongst our best Care Professionals, and we are grateful to have them on board. Nobody will be discriminated against just because they may not live in the area permanently. We look after many clients with military connections, and our veteran Care Pro’s and clients make fantastic matches.

Home Instead Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Oswestry are a family run organisation, providing care and companionship services for older and vulnerable people in our local communities. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an Outstanding CQC rating, we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our Care Professionals to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build relationships and trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
