Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Home Instead Stafford Cheadle and Stone is committed to the Armed Forces Covenant and recognise the value that military families bring to our business and to our country. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

  • Promoting that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, to our staff, clients, suppliers and public.
  • Supporting the employment of Service spouses and partners; partnering with the Forces Families Jobs Forum and providing flexibility in granting three days of unpaid leave for Service spouses and partners before or after all of the partner’s deployments.
  • Arrange Forces/spouses only events, to promote vacancies and guarantee interviews.
  • Promote the use of our Employee Assistance Programme to Forces spouses/partners employed by us, which gives additional support to our staff.
  • Paid for Blue Light card to access discount to services/retailers, access to Home Instead Benefits discount scheme for employees.
  • Link Forces spouses/partners to dedicated Whatsapp group in order to provide additional/peer support.
  • Supporting Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Remembrance activities.

Home Instead Stafford, Cheadle and Stone is a family run companionship led domiciliary care provider that’s been operating since 2008. We pride ourselves in providing unparalleled care and consideration to all our staff and clients, a company you would be proud to work for.

Minimum call times of an hour to local and regular clients, providing non-medial companionship led care with full in house training provided. Also we have no upper age limit for applicants and no uniform required. Over half our staff have been with us for over five years and a third for over seven years.
