About us

Hovertravel provides the fastest Isle of Wight ferry route across the Solent and is the world’s only year round passenger hovercraft service. Our passenger service operates to the shores at Southsea or Ryde in just 10 minutes. Offering a critical life line service for many in our community, as well as a celebrated form of transport for visitors. In addition we are committed to the development of the local economy and its tourism industry, working with our local and national partners.
