Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
As an organisation we signed the Armed Forces Covenant in September 2019. Since then, we have achieved the Bronze Defence Employer Recognition Scheme award and are awaiting approval for the Silver award. Part of our commitment to forces family members is to set up a network of Champions, two of which will specialise in working with families.
We recognise that forces families are different and can require a diverse approach to employment. We value the experience these people can bring to our organisation and are keen to support them through their NHS employment journey. Whilst the NHS is traditionally thought of in terms of clinical roles, there are also many non-clinical roles in the NHS where flexibility can be achieved; this may be in the form of some hybrid working to include working from home, or possibly condensed hours (subject to Line Manager agreement/suitability to the role).
Why not see what we have available and get in touch?
