Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

The Trust is committed to the Armed Forces Covenant, and we re-affirmed this commitment again in early 2023 through re-signing the covenant with our Chief Executive, along with the Royal British Legion, serving and veteran colleagues. This demonstrates our pledge to support armed forces personnel, veterans and their families.

About us

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest and busiest acute hospital trusts in the UK. The Trust has a budget of £1.4 billion and employs more than 21,000 staff. Last year, we treated more than 1.7 million patients.

Our care and clinical expertise is delivered from seven hospitals on five sites, and they are all joined by our vision to be the best for specialist and integrated care.

‘The Leeds Way’, forms the foundation of our culture, our ethos and how we work every day. The Leeds Way values are: patient centred, fair, collaborative, accountable and empowered. Since its launch in 2014, The Leeds Way has become embedded in everything we do. The Leeds Way is who we are and what we believe. It defines how we work to deliver the best possible care and outcomes for our patients. The Leeds Way is about listening and being inclusive and taking on board the very best ideas out there.
