Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
The Force has committed to;
Our Covenant is supported by ex-Army Veteran Alan Osborne, Safer Together Coordinator, from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and ex-RAF and Military Spouse Zara McArdle, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Lincolnshire Police. Service personnel and their families are routinely separated from their families and this can result in additional complexities, particularly when we consider victims and access to family support.
About us
We are a diverse and unique county, and our policing approach must reflect and represent our communities.
Our three policing purposes are simple. We need to stop crime and anti-social behaviour, protect people from harm, and help those in need. To achieve these outcomes we will focus on five core themes of people, partners, culture, capability, and communities. We are passionate to service and our workforce chosen values are Courageous, Open, Fair and Inclusive. We want sustained reductions in offending, have communities who feel safe and protected from harm, and have a workforce who are knowledgeable, confident, skilled, and equipped to do their job well. In simple terms we put people at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to working together to make Lincolnshire the safest place to live, work and visit. We are committed to equality of service and opportunity and want to make sure that everyone has access to our services, regardless of background, culture or personal circumstances.
