Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Livewell Southwest is committed to: Hosting insight days to raise awareness of NHS careers with the Armed Forces community. Offering work placements to the Armed Forces community and provide support to those who apply for a vacancy. Providing support for those service leavers who have additional needs. Promoting the programme and sharing messaging via our website and social media. We will always consider offering an interview to spouses/partners if they meet the selection criteria laid out in a job advert. We encourage our staff to apply for other suitable positions within Livewell Southwest on relocation when appropriate. We will support training and development which helps staff not only in their Livewell Southwest role, but will also be of benefit in future employment. We will look sympathetically on requests for leave before, during or after a partner’s deployment according to Livewell Southwest policy.
About us
Livewell Southwest is an independent, award winning social enterprise providing integrated health and social care services for people across Plymouth, South Hams and West Devon, as well as some specialist services for people living in parts of Devon and Cornwall. We are at the forefront of integrating health and social care, which means that we care for people in new ways that are more efficient, with health and social care professionals who would have previously worked in individual teams now working together. This helps us to deliver the right care for people, in the right place and at the right time.
