Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Maersk recognises the value that Forces family members bring to our business. We seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by promoting the fact that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, where we look to support the employment of Service spouses, partners and families alike. Maersk are committed to offering flexible employment and leave to forces families before, during and post deployments. This includes members of our Reserves during training and mobilisation, where they have family members employed by Maersk to offer flexibility of employment where possible. All Maersk employees who have a connection to the Armed Forces are encouraged to develop a Defence community and participate in relevant events e.g. Armed Forces Day, Welfare Days and Forces Charitable events, with Maersk wholly supportive of the wider Defence community and Forces families.
