The Manufacturing Technology Centre’s is committed to disability inclusion and accessibility in the workplace. To support the wellbeing of our employees, we have adopted a number of programmes developed by mental health experts. These include specially trained employees who act as Mental Health ‘First Aiders’ in the workplace and access to a 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme run by professional councillors delivering ‘on the spot’ advice as well as longer term counselling. We also offer use of the confidential wellbeing app, Help@hand. Our company is committed to being a ‘forces friendly’ employer and we work with the Careers Transition Partnership sponsored by the Ministry of Defence to engage service leavers and their families looking to find a new civilian career.

Established to prove cutting edge manufacturing advances in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions, the MTC works with hundreds of industrial clients across a range of sectors including automotive, aerospace, rail, informatics, food and drink, infrastructure, construction and civil engineering, electronics, oil and gas and defence.
