Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
We sponsor the local veteran’s breakfast, work with the local reservists unit on joint projects to help them recruit and run team building tasks with our team, we have introduced a number of new business to the Armed Forces Covenant including McDonald’s UK & I, we also attend the North of England Armed Forces Business Forum and are Gold ERS award holders. We also employ four Armed Forces veterans, including the two business owners, four serving or ex-cadets and have supported the enlistment of one regular and one reservist from our employees. Our HR policy also supports 10 days additional paid leave for serving reservists of the Armed Forces.

Mavas Foods Limited is the legal name for a McDonald’s Franchisee who trades as McDonald’s. Currently the group consist of two restaurants and just over 200 employees in Middlesbrough.
