Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
We’re proud to have been granted the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) for our support of the Armed Forces and their families. Mayfield House is Armed Forces-friendly and we are open to employing reservists, cadet instructors and military spouses/partners. We’ve made changes to our policies and procedures as part of our commitment to recruit and retain more ex-forces personnel in the future. We also care for many veterans.
About us
Mayfield House, located in Crewe, Cheshire, is an independent care home owned by Littleton Holdings Ltd. The home offers permanent residential and dementia care, respite care, holiday stays and short-term care services. Facilities include a cinema room and even an in-house pub, The Queens Arms, and corridors are decorated to look like a high street so residents can get a sense of being out and about – in a safe, warm environment!
Director Anne Littleton says: “We have over 25 years of experience with residential and dementia care. We strive to achieve the highest possible standards in every aspect of care for our residents.”
The care home has a Junior Management Traineeship programme to develop care home managers of the future, as well as a partnership with health care training provider Acacia Training.
Mayfield House’s motto is “we care because we care”, and the home is a member of B1G1, which helps businesses achieve a global social impact by embedding giving activities into everyday business operations.
