Mitie commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant is that we will support Veterans, Families and spouses. Mitie are currently hold the Gold Covenant award and very proudly actively recruit veterans and their families. Mitie understand that when a member of someone’s family leaves the services whether this is through choice of their own or medically discharged then there is a chance they are going to relocate, Mitie welcomes families and a flexible working pattern should it be required. Mitie understand the disruption that can often be caused to young adults if they have to relocate and as one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK, we have a great apprenticeship scheme that we can offer up to these young adults should it be of an interest. Mitie has a charity that is called the Mitie Foundation and they support those who may have a barrier into work, they are able to organise work placements and added support should you feel you need it and will be with you all the way into employment. Mitie are very passionate about ED&I and we have six different networks which anyone is welcome to join once they are a Mitie employee, these networks are Mitie Military, Parents and Carers, Proud to be, Chord, Enable and Mitie Women Can.
