Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Myddelton College is the premier private school provider in North Wales. We are also holders of the prestigious Employer Recognition Award at Gold level.
The school takes its commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant seriously, to that end we support the Woodys Lodge veteran support hub at Ty Gwalia in Denbighshire. We also support our in house Combined Cadet Force unit, which fosters an interest in careers in defence as well as an understanding of the service community.
Currently Myddelton College does not employ any dependants of military employees. However in registering with Forces Families Jobs we are reaching out to what we regard as being an often overlooked and untapped resource, that being the partner in the often very mobile service family. We are sure they would fit in comfortably, as our small school community is also a family.
We look forward to welcoming to the school a member of the forces community who we feel sure can contribute.
About us
Myddelton College is a top Independent Boarding and Day School in the UK, established on a 37½ acre campus. The college takes its name from the renowned Myddelton family who, dating back to the 15th Century, were eminent figures in the history of Denbighshire and Wales, having been Members of Parliament for the local area as well as contributing to wider society across the United Kingdom.
Myddelton is located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Denbigh, situated at the foot of the 13th Century fortress of Denbigh Castle which dates back to 1859 and contains the perfect blend of historic architecture with modern facilities. The school is surrounded by a rich history as well as plenty of amenities and the spectacular Welsh countryside. It is easily accessible by road, rail and close to major airports.
