Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

PCMS recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

  • demonstrating we are an armed forces-friendly organisation; we want to diversify our workforce and recognise the transferable skills veterans have and will provide them with guidance and support during their transition
  • support the employment of veterans, working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers; advertising our vacancies on the CTP website, highlighting we value the skills, knowledge and experiences veterans have
  • supporting the employment of Service spouses and partners
  • endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment
  • supporting our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible
  • we will endeavour to work with local service communities and organisations supporting veterans, whilst also making sure our sites are veteran friendly.
