UK Docks Marine Services Limited are proud to support the Armed Forces community by honouring the Armed Forces Covenant. Signing the Armed Forces Covenant in 2018, recognising both Regular and Reserves, Veterans, Uniformed Cadet Instructors and Service Families contribute to our business and the United Kingdom. We uphold the Covenant principles by: 

  1. Promoting ourselves as an Armed Forces friendly organisation. 
  2. Encouraging employees to volunteer in events related to prompting and raising funds for Armed Forces charities throughout the UK.  
  3. Considering veterans and their families young and old, by valuing and recognising military skills/qualifications when interviewing for positions. 
  4. Encouraging our partners and collaborators within our value chain to also support the Covenant.

About us 

UK Docks is a family owned and operated business originating in the North East of England which remains its headquarters, established in 1992. UK Docks works across the globe delivering vessel maintenance repair and refit, in-service support, vessel upgrades and modifications, conversions, ship life extension programs, technical and logistical support, and comprehensive data management services. UK Docks has acquired an excellent reputation in both Commercial and Defence sectors of the maritime industry by combining the expertise and experience of its staff. UK Docks is, proud of the fact that over 15% of the staff are veterans, and or, veterans family members. UK Docks understands that the transition from the military to civilian life is both exciting and challenging for service leavers, especially their families.
