Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant including plans to grow and support our network of military families. We will support Service spouses, partners, and families by offering flexible employment and career opportunities, including before, during and after a partner’s deployment.

  • Support the employment of Service spouses, partners and families; partnering with the Forces Families Jobs platform.
  • The £3,000 a year Greenwich Hospital Bursary for children of serving or retired Royal Navy or Royal Marine personnel, or for those who are Royal Navy veterans.
  • Creative Forces Days, where groups of service children in schools visit the University to get a feel for what university study is really like and messaging around future career pathways.
  • Partners in the Service Children’s Progression (SCiP) Alliance, which is focused on improving the educational outcomes of children from military families.
  • Engage service children in university outreach, and utilise service child voice to further enhance our support for service child progression to higher education children in university outreach.
