Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
At Wellington Management we felt that signing the covenant was an important initiative for our firm as we look to assist the Defence community in understanding roles within the asset management industry, to facilitate a move to the asset management industry and to support those already working within our firm. In addition to this, we also feel that the Defence community represents talented people who bring different experiences and contribute different perspectives to our firm. Veterans and those serving in the reserve forces, along with forces families, have unique training and experiences, along with highly transferable skillsets across a huge variety of disciplines. As such, they offer a strong pool of talent for our firm and the broader asset management industry.
