Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust has demonstrated our public commitment to the Armed Forces community by agreeing to two core principles:

  • No member of the Armed Forces community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen
  • In some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate, especially for the injured or bereaved.

We have also introduced a guaranteed interview scheme for candidates that are part of the armed forces family and meet the essential criteria for the role.
