Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
At Wolferstans we encourage applications from all members of the Armed Forces community. Recognising the transferable skills and qualifications our service leavers and reservists have, as well as the wealth of knowledge and understanding our service families can bring to employment. Wolferstans provide flexibility in granting leave for service spouses and partners before, during and after their partners deployment and we offer 10 days paid leave to reservists to carry out their continuous training. We support any mobilisations of reservists and actively encourage members of staff to become reservists, providing paid time off for interviews and assessments.
Wolferstans supports and participates in local events including Armed Forces Day, the Poppy Appeal and events supporting our local Armed Forces charities. We work collaboratively with local charities and charitable organisations to ensure a wider knowledge of the supportive network which may benefit our clients and colleagues.
