Wonde Ltd

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

We, Wonde Limited will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:

  • No member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen
  • In some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.

Demonstrating our Commitment

We recognise the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business and to our country. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

  • Promoting the fact we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, to our staff, customers, suppliers, contractors and wider public;
  • Seeking to support the employment of veterans, recognising military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process; working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP)  in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers;
  • Striving to support the employment of Service spouses and partners, working with Forces Families Jobs (FFJ) to support this;
  • Endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment.
  • Supporting our employees who are members of the Reserve Forces; including accommodating their training and deployment where possible;
  • Aiming to actively support Armed Forces Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Remembrance activities;

We will publicise these commitments through our literature and on our website, setting out how we will seek to honour them and inviting feedback from the Service community and our customers on how we are doing.

About us

Wonde is a secure data management solution which allows schools to manage the information that is shared with third party education applications. Created in 2015, the company has now grown to over 150 employees, five offices, and is used by over 27,000 schools and 500 apps over the world. Wonde has two sister companies; Evouchers and Secure Schools. Evouchers provides tailored voucher solutions to local authorities, companies and schools in order to support their vulnerable communities. It was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure free school meals were provided to eligible families but has since evolved to supply vouchers for utilities, food banks, retail and more. Secure Schools was acquired by Wonde in 2022 and supports the cyber security of schools. This is done through educating staff about cyber security, how they can prevent cyber attacks and the appropriate actions to take in the event of a security breach.
