Worcestershire County Council

Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

As an organisation the County Council values and recognises the wide range of unique skills, abilities and experiences that forces family members as well as reservists and veterans can bring to an organisation and we never treat any individual within those groups negatively due to their relationship to the Armed Forces. We understand that there is potentially a large talent pool of individuals who we would like to try to match with opportunities that we may be able to offer them. As an organisation we have a continuing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces and celebrate Armed Forces week with a flag raising ceremony and showcasing personal stories from staff members who have a strong connection to the Armed Forces. We are also currently in the process of applying for our silver AFC award.
