Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

Yorwaste signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant in 2019 and received the silver award in 2021. We are working to ensure that the business can support both serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces by establishing inclusive recruitment processes and HR policies. We have policies that support those members in the reserve forces undertake their training and operational commitments and a network which can help people transition into civilian life. By signing the covenant, we are now publicly demonstrating our commitment to ensuring that those in the armed forces, and their families, are well-supported, both during and after their service.
