SSAFA volunteering roles now on FFJ

FFJ and SSAFA have teamed up to advertise volunteer roles at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

Jenna Richardson, Employment and Training Specialist at the Army Families Federation said: “I am absolutely delighted that we were able to get SSAFA’s volunteering roles advertised on FFJ because they are such good opportunities for military spouses who may want to build their CVs, develop skills and meet new people on postings.

“It is especially good for our overseas families who may be subject to strict employment restrictions in their location, so volunteering could be a possible solution to this.”

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has been providing lifelong support to the Armed Forces and their families since 1885; supporting serving personnel (including Reservists), veterans and their families: ssafa.org.uk

Lisa Thipthorp, SSAFA Volunteer Development Manager said: “Everyone who offers their time to volunteer with SSAFA makes a huge difference. We have a wonderful volunteer support team at SSAFA to discuss what roles are available.”
