  • £19,299 to £20,650 actual per annum
  • Term time only (39 weeks per year), 32.5 hours per week

Westbourne Academy are looking for a Behaviour Support and Intervention who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.

About you:-

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated, and has a passion for supporting teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students to work closely with the wider pastoral team to develop our inclusion provision by providing high quality support when students are removed from lessons, to enable successful reintegration. They will provide support with interventions, communication with home, facilitate our reporting process and aid with administrative tasks. You will relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to use their own initiative, with the ability to maintain a professional manner and the confidence to challenge difficult behaviour. Previous experience of working with young people is essential. This role requires, a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
