The role reports into the transformation and data team which is responsible for stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand from across the organisation for digital, data and technology-based services and solutions. Helping the organisation identify areas for business improvement, data insights, including intelligent automation and data driven decision making.
The role supports IT leadership and other stakeholders across the business by partnering with business analysis, and business intelligence colleagues to produce high quality data insights via Microsoft Power Platform and other big data products.

Main tasks:
- To provide timely, accurate and actionable information and insights business wide
- Examine and evaluate data and reporting requirements for divisions and business services
- A primary support to the IT leadership in all data insight related projects.
- To build and maintain relationships with business units, to maintain a culture of data driven decision making.
- The role holder will support the firm in strengthening its capability in use of its information for marketing, financial performance, business development activities and decision making.
- Encouraged to seek innovations to develop business understanding and insight across the business.
- Coach and support non-technical colleagues in the use of business analytics techniques and tools.
What will it take to be successful?
Ideally you will have relevant experience working on ERP, CRM and operational databases in a professional services capacity. You will need to have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills and work well as part of a busy team. You will be enthusiastic and reliable, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will also be an expert user of PowerBI, with a readiness to use other power platform components, you will need to be proficient in SQL programming skills for extracting data sets, as well a proficiency in SQL server, including data warehousing and potentially data lake technology.
Working with multiple colleagues, you will be participating in helping Carter Jonas transform digitally linking with the IT Vision 2030. However, flexibility is key as demand generally follows mobilisation project, often shifting in volume and priority across the different business areas. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the professional services & property industry. The role would suit someone with previous experience in a data analyst, power platform or data developer centric role.
Please note: This is a remote role, however, you will be expected to attend one of our offices occasionally. We are open to applications from those based in the UK, travel to Birmingham, Peterborough, Northampton, Leeds or London would be required.
